Just wail on him in beast mode with any big items in vicinity.I'm at Majima S rank and while he does get a bit spongy, most of the time one of these tactics works: The Coliseum enemies have given me far more trouble than anything in the main game. Shakedown in Yakuza Zero but I've found myself totally trashing most bosses. I don't know if it's skills picked up from grinding Mr. That in itself makes Kiwami worth picking up, especially if you enjoyed any other Yakuza game. Overall - there's still nothing quite like Yakuza on the market. It's definitely rough around the edges (but the game was originally released for $29.99), likely due to the noticeable lower budget but I honestly can't complain at this price-point. The Majima Everywhere system is also a lot of fun. I also really enjoyed using Beast mode this time around, when upgraded it became so amazingly fun to use. Combat, when it works (and Kiwami really opens up the more exp & skills you unlock), is just super satisfying as always with a lot of fun curbstomping heat actions to use. Substories are a step back I thought, where in Yakuza 0 some of them could be quite lengthy and enjoyable, but I still need to play a lot more of them in Premium Adventure now that I'm done with the main story. All in all, it's good fun - story & writing in general is definitely weaker than in Y0 (understandable since it was the first Yakuza game released, and on PS2 nonetheless), fewerr mini-games overall and a few bosses/encounters are straight up annoying bullshit.
